If you have Medicare and/or Medi-Cal (Health Net), do not call for appointments. I was on the phone for 15 minutes, only to be told by the front desk that they don’t accept either of my insurances. It didn’t make sense to me, so I asked the representative to double-check with his colleagues. However, he was certain that, according to their policy, they do not accept either of my insurances.
Most older adults in CA with knee problems rely on Medicare or Medi-Cal. If you’re not accepting either, I really don’t understand.
